It's sad to say but summer is indeed coming to an end. The mornings are carrying a chill, and the nights are fading away quicker then I would like. I can definitely feel Fall coming our way.
Soon it will be time to tuck away the pool rafts and dig out the vibrant orange pumpkins and straw scarecrows. The cloudy skies will soon be my new companion, as I toss away the sunglasses. The tan will fade away and shorts will be no more.
Until then .. our plan is to soak up each last drop of sunshine. A few days of clouds with the sun trying to peak out and with the nighttime trying to make its presence, it gives us pretty skies like these.
Birthdays are popular in the summertime around here, and we had one more to celebrate. Gage turned another year older, however can this be? He was the start of the Little's, and I can remember just days ago when he was a toddler.
And this is my favorite picture of him, straight from my hallway ..
We gathered together at the park, to celebrate who will always be a lil' guy to me.
Baseball cupcake cake, none the less.
It was Alyssa's first family birthday party, and she just soaked it in.
There was singing to be had, and I sing really good too :)
Basketball games with Uncle Mikey and Mr Happiness.
Big smiles were there, when Selena Gomez music was ripped open.
And guitars too.
Playing some songs he already knew.
Lego's were a big hit.
Kate or Miss Photogenic. (more on that later)
Dad soaking up precious moments with Alyssa.
Having my husband not work nights anymore, brings him to more family functions.
and another great life message from Mr Happiness -
Sometimes you just gotta take a bite out of life and
take it all in.
Been a busy bee these last few weeks, but I had my first
"photo shoot" last week with Miss Photogenic aka Katie.
In a day or two I will post those pictures here.
Had so much fun and am so proud of how the photos turned out.
For now, a sneak peak ..
Have a Happy Week.

I love her one pink shoe and one silver shoe! I used to do that when I was little too :-)
