Switched.

Almost overnight, fall reached Oregon.
It was almost like a switch flipped; summer off, fall on.
As much as I love the abundant sunshine with
warm sultry days, this switch is just well ... pure love.

The way the colorful leaves swirl in the wind, the
fall scented candles flowing throughout the house. The
comfort foods that just taste a bit better when its
cooler out. This year I'm trying to embrace the season
change, as we say goodbye to Summer.

A coffee person I am not, but this is the most
perfect way to start your day.

And sprinkles make it all the better.

And with the switch, comes Oregon's outpouring of love for us.

And when I awoke this morning, I dragged the husband to a nearby
park so we could take in the beauty of this change. And even
when the rain drops fell on my head to make it simply a bad
hair day, I embraced it and just snapped away, and this is what
I call .. love.

And this is the guy ... who I just love.
He lets me be me, and comes along for the journey.
